Moving On



















Tried To Help Them Break Free

Real leaders see things before they happen. We just have to realize that everyone won't be able to see what we see. Today I have been reflecting on when I first started practicing Attraction Marketing. I attempted to tell my down line about it because I was excited and knew that it would get theme where they were trying to go faster than the 80's methods our business's organization were telling us to use at Hotel meetings, and conferences. You know what type of conferences I'm talking about. The kind that are never in your state, and cost you $1,000 to attend if you are married and $500 if you are single. This is because you have to pay for travel, food, conference tickets, and lodging. When you get to the conference you really get nothing out of it because all they do is pump you up on hype. They never really tell you the details of how to build your business. Really all they give you is a bunch of success stories with no detail or little stories that ultimately just tell you to check up line and never give up. They actually preach that you should take bill money to come to the conference if you can't afford to attend , and it will benefit you later. When you get back home you are further in dept than when you left. I thought they told you when you joined this business it would help you make extra money not suck you dry? Thank God I was able to break out of the brain washing that only made my up line diamonds organizational business richer. Once I searched for a better way and found it of course I wanted to share it with my team. I only want the best for them. However, for various reasons they seemed to have chosen not to embrace Attraction Marketing at that time. Has this or did this happen to you?



Brain Washed

Lets face the facts in order to understand our down lines position we need to place ourselves in their shoes. Now I know that "Brain Washed" is harsh terms. However, we must admit that to some degree when we got in our business's we were brain washed. I know I was now that I look back on it. Some of us were fortunate to snap out of it. Others like our down line may be finding it hard to leave the known of the knife to a gun fight chasing family and friends methods to embrace the online Attraction methods. You have to be brain washed in order to take all that rejection with little to no results coming from it. Person after person telling you no on the phone, prospects constantly no showing you at meetings, losing contact with family and friends due to your fanatical desperate approach to make money in your business. For example to remedy the loss of contact with friends, family, and acquaintances they tell you that your real friends are in this business. Even worse they tell you that you will earn the right to be certain peoples friends at higher pin levels. I'm not sure about how you feel but I know I never wanted to have to earn the right to be any one's friend. To me that's not a real friend if our friendship is tied or was created by how much money we can help each other make. That's just one of the many examples of the brain washing. Remember this examples of brain washing when your down line that was introduced to the business by old methods does not seem to want to embrace Attraction Marketing. They don't want to venture into the unknown because since day one in your business their minds have been molded to think this is the only way to build this business. They feel that if they just keep trying,stay consistent with the same thing, and keep positive one day their revolving door business will lock, and their team will really grow. I read a book that says it is a "fool" who keeps doing the same thing expecting different results. That's why I found a better way, without checking up line. They may of tried to discourage me finding a different way to build the business.


Scenario #1

There are two situations of down line not embracing attraction marketing that I endured when I started sharing my findings with them. Maybe you have encountered this or will encounter this. Perhaps you have a super star down line who has a big chunk of your business team sponsored by them. They may be satisfied with the way they are currently building the business. They aren't really mentored by you. They are actually mentored by one of your up lines because they are in another state. They feel that they should only do what that up line who is mentoring them tells them they should do verbatim. You may of tried to tell them about Attraction Marketing their business online, and they quickly ask you how is it working for you? How much have you made with this in comparison to the current way of marketing that I still use? You just started less than 90 days ago so the results aren't that significant yet. You know that it takes about 90 days to get your web of content up online, but they don't understand that. When you try to explain this to them they decide to stick with your up lines mentoring of calling friends and family, and cold contacting people they meet.




Scenario #2

The other situation I dealt with was people that were local to me in Houston just never got started with it. You know these type well. When you are meeting with them they talk a good game, and say they are going to follow through with the training and reading the ebooks. Sadly when you meet with them or talk with them again they have not done anything that they said they would do. Their either unmotivated, feel its to much, to hard or really never intended to do it in the first place.


Moving On and Starting From Scratch

In both of these situations you can not afford to frustrate yourself or let them hold you back. If they ever want your help or need your help they will contact you. When they contact you  help them. However, please make sure they are serious by requiring some action from them so you know they are seriously ready to start applying Attraction Marketing to their business. Start attracting new down line from the Attraction Methods. I guarantee you won't have the same struggles that you had previously with people that joined your business the old way. Ultimately you have to as I had to just move on like you are the only one in your business again and do everything the new way. Don't hold on to any of the old methods, because they will hold you from progress. Let prospects, and customers come to you through your online content. Attraction marketing is the art of attracting customers or prospects to you in your business. This is truly setting you up as a store front when it comes to customers, and as a professional consultant when dealing with prospects, and customers. Selling is out, and teaching is in. This new model of online network marketing challenges you to become a leader, and expert in your particular niche. As a result of the upfront value you give people are drawn to you. Attraction Marketing requires you to ditch the old school methods of conducting your mlm business. Things like calling everyone on a big list, and cold contacting at Wal Mart are 
becoming more and more obsolete.
    
    Recently I was at a business conference for my respective Network Marketing company. During one of the night owls my upline diamond highlighted people who were doing alot of brunt work cold contacting people as soon as they got off work. Some even said they don't allow themselves to come home until 10pm so that they can meet a significant amount of people every day. The top earners in the particular organization I am a part of in my company are encouraging this. If only they knew about the attraction marketing methods. The organization I am a part of in my company focuses on making things easier for the new guy then it was for them when they got in the business in the 80's. I am just waiting for the right time to share these new methods with them. They should accept them and implement them at that time if they truly want to make things easier for their 
downline distributers.





     The fact is that attraction marketing seems to have been around since 2006. That means we are way behind. Currently in 2011 there are droves of people doing attraction marketing now utilizing various marketing systems. Systems like Renegade Professional, and My Lead System Pro are leading  the pack. I wish I would of known about this when I joined my business. Sadly people on twitter were trying to introduce me to these new methods early on in my business. I blew every one of them off because I did not have ears to hear or eyes to see. To me the lead capture pages looked like scams. Plus we are conditioned not to look outside our companies for help building our businesses. Other network marketers could tell that I did not know about attraction marketing because of the foolish methods I was using online to build my business. Its very easy to spot people who need our help. They do a lot of pitching their opportunity and products online. These people consistently post about their business opportunity, and products like that is going to bring them more prospects and customers. It doesn’t. I was as they are oblivious to the fact that I was repelling people from me rather then attracting people to me. The only thing that caused me to start looking for methods outside of what my business was teaching me to do was when the top guy in our particular organization started encouraging his team of 30,000 people to think about their business. He started encouraging us to be entrepreneurs. I'm sure glad he did because as a result my mind was open, and I started practicing attraction marketing! 

 For some reason network marketers who are practicing attraction marketing don't give a lot of details in articles, and blogs. This actually will frustrate prospects with you, and they will continue their search for all of the information. That’s why I joined Renegade Professional over My Lead System Pro. My Lead System Pro just gave me a lot of success stories. They don't take the time to let you know what attraction marketing is prior to you paying money to join their website. Renegade professional gives a lot of upfront free information as to what exactly attraction marketing is. As a result I joined their system. With so many people doing attraction marketing in 2011 it’s a must that you stand out among the masses to generate those ongoing prequalified leads.

    Give more value than the other guy or girl and you will get the lead. Don't be scared to give a lot of up front valuable information. As a matter of fact be like Mike Klingler, and Ann Seig. Give people so much free information that they could be successful even if they don’t join your mailing list. That will draw them to you even more. Even though Network Marketers are using attraction marketing now with so many people utilizing it you have to brand yourself and stick out even more. The Secret To Success In Network Marketing!


The Secret

The secret isn't really a secret at all. It's been right in front of our faces all the time. If you latch on to what I'm going to tell you , and run with it you can't help put have success in your business and life in general. I wish I would of  realized or embraced what I am going to share with you today long ago. Really they should teach this stuff in school but they don't. 97% of Network Marketers fail because they don't take the time to learn about the most important thing in the world....."PEOPLE". People are the secret to making your MLM work, and be profitable. You have to build relationships with people. This is a people business not a sales business. If network marketers would learn this upfront they would succeed faster. People join people not business opportunities. It doesn't matter how great your company is. If your prospect doesn't like you they won't join you or stay with you.

Different Strokes For Different Folks
Everyone that gets into your business will be different. You have to know how to deal with the different people that get into your group or that you come in contact with when prospecting. You can do this by learning about the four different personality types. It is essential for the longevity of your business that you get into a habit of identifying a persons primary, and secondary personality quickly. This simple habit alone will save you years of frustration in this industry. Become a student of people. All of the top earning gurus do this. Have you ever noticed whenever top earners in companies speak they always start off by identifying their personality type? Even if they don't refer to the four personalities in the beginning of their talk they will at some point. That lets us know that these things are always on their minds. Thats truely the secret to their success. Knowing the personality types, and being able to identify them and work with them accordingly has helped every top earner get where they want to be in this industry. Really I would say this is one of the first things you want to teach your people about. If you do and they grasp this they will be with you for the long haul.

Education
Wired that way and Personality Plus are two books I would recommend any network marketer to read. Really anybody who wants a major advantage in life should read these books. If you know how to motivate people, and if you know what makes them tick you can really have a major advantage in life. As I said previously everyone that gets in your business is different, and they need different things to flourish in business. Those who maximize the education in these books really have an unfair advantage over those who do not. Maybe I won't call it unfair because the education is out there for whomever wants it. The problem is the masses are to self absorbed to become a student of other people, as a result they fail in business.


The Four Personalities

I will end with the four personalities and a brief synopsis of what you need to provide them with as their upline so they can be successful in business with you.

Sanguine
This personality is the most easy to identify. 
  • They just want to have fun 
  • They are usually loud, and talkative
  • They are extraverted and touchy feely
  • They like loud clothing
  • They are usually very popular, and the life of the party
This person will need the business to be fun in order for them to be prodcutive. Motivate them with the trips they can be rewarded for being successful in business. Do your best to make the business seem more like a game then work. They will thrive in a fun, social business atmosphere.
Melancholy
  • They want everything to be perfect
  • They are usually very organized and detailed
  • Anylitical of everything
  • Very Moody
  • Very Quiet


This person will need all of the details of the business. They will also need time to figure things out, let them soak it in, and figure out a detailed plan of action for every move. This person is coachable. They will hang on everything you teach them, and implement it to near perfection. They thrive in an organized business environment.
Choleric
  • Goal Oriented
  • Leader
  • Aggressive
  • Extroverted
  • Controling
This person is not coach-able. They will want the bottom line basics of the business. They will be motivated by the money they can make. Your best bet with this person is to allow them to take control of their business. Let them do their own thing. Don't try to put any restraints on them. Allow them to come to you when they realize they need your help. If you attempt to take lead in any aspect of their business unwelcomed beware you may blow them out of your business. The Choleric likes to run things. If they can't win and do it  their way they won't play the game.
Phlegmatic

  • Hardest to identify
  • Laid Back
  • Can adapt to any environment and anyone
  • Easy Going
  • Relaxed
  • Quiet
Relationships are extremely important to this type of business partner. You will need to spend alot of time with them. Spend alot of time with them working the business side by side. They will need you to keep them motivated, and on track. Make sure that this person knows that they are important to you as a person first.
This personality type needs to know that you are their freind. They need to know that you care about them. Phlegmatics will thrive in a positive family like relaxed business atmosphere.

How To Make Money On Facebook



Mark Zuckerburg is a Billionaire. Yes that's Billionaire with a "B"! Yesterday I was at the Barbershop and my barber said he wonders how facebook can be free? I proceeded to tell him why its free and will always be free. Mark Zuckerburg makes money off of us, and our eye balls. The money is made by all of the adds that come up on your page. Have you ever noticed how these adds seem to cater to your interest? That's a very strategic method that has made Zuckerburg very wealthy. There is a Billion plus people now on facebook. He wants us to add as many people to the site as possible so he can make more money. Some people get angry or jealous because Mark makes money off of us. Don't get angry at all. Just figure out how to make your money off facebook as well just like Mark Zuckerburg does. I have and you can to! You have to have something to offer the market place first and far most in order to make money on facebook. Network marketers have a great advantage online with this because we possess all of these. However you can not approach your marketing in a direct way. Always remember this is a "social" networking site first. Think back to when you first joined facebook. Most likely you joined to connect with friends, meet new people or get a date. People don't like when you come at them about a business opportunity or product and service as soon as they friend you. I used to be guilty of this to. Usually when people do this it turns them off, and they just may unfriend you right away. Whether you post your product or service on their wall or in their inbox you're not going to get favorable results. You have to take an indirect approach.




The Correct Way To Facebook Market
1.Take time to get to know the person
2.Have a genuine interest in the people you are connecting with on facebook.
3.Don't bring up business on the 1st message.
4.Wait until the 3rd message or more that you send before you bring up business.
5. Even then don't bring up business directly.
6.Uncover a need for your product or services by asking them questions that would identify whether they want or need what you are providing.
7. If they are interested in what you have to offer move the conversation to the phone by getting their number.
8. Also don't have anything on your main facebook page that identifies that you are part of a business or marketing something.





My wife and I have utilized these methods and we continue to have success with making money on facebook. Make yourself standout amongst the rest online. Everyone is trying to sell something or offer a business on facebook. Most people are doing it the wrong way, and not getting the results they desire. Online Network Marketers and MLM Target Market for Prospects

Intro


If you are like me when you got in your mlm business you were not taught about a target market. You were probably told to make a A list, which is the first thirty to fifty people you would want to work with in business. When you exhausted that list maybe you were told to make a B list. Which is code word for the biggest list you can make consisting of everyone you know in your cell phone, and on face book, etc. Perhaps you were also told to make an ongoing C list which is everyone new you meet. You were most likely told that making, and calling a big list to offer them your business opportunity would get you the best results. This may be true because of the law of averages, but this method also gets you lots of No's and or No shows to information meetings, and damaged relationships in the process.
For whatever reason some people act like its a cardinal sin to offer them an opportunity to make extra money. They get upset, and avoid you for trying to help them out. Now I do understand that a lot of people in our industry are very pushy, and sometimes sneaky when it comes to prospecting which gives us all a bad name. Perhaps those friends, and family we offered the opportunity to that started acting funny with us had a bad experience with mlm's in the past. However, I don't feel like they should treat us any different. I'm sure you feel the same ,and have possibly had your own experiences with this.

The Solution

There is a solution to this. You must know your target market! I learned about our target market as network marketers in detail from the renegade system. After alot of searching I found a much better way to market my business opportunity to people. With new people on my business team now we focus on their target market for that A, and C list. If they have some people they would like to offer the opportunity to as B list prospects that do not fall into the target market categories that is fine, and ultimately their choice because it is their business to offer. However, knowing what I know now we focus on the target market about 95% of the time.
TARGET MARKET
What is the target market for network marketing opportunities?
  1. People who are either already in an mlm or have been in an mlm before.
  2. People who have been researching your particular business opportunity.
  3. People who are looking for a business opportunity or home base business, but they just don't know that network marketing will fill this need for them yet.
The above 3 groups of people that I listed would be my A list if we are working offline with a new person on my business team. By the way let me just interject this. When you are working with a new person who did not find you online through attraction marketing you should still use offline methods until they are ready to learn the online attraction marketing methods. The new methods can be quite over whelming for a new person to our industry. Just know that utilizing the target market knowledge will make their results and early success way better then ours was when we started business without this knowledge. Without the knowledge of who your target market is you are basically throwing mud on the wall and seeing if it sticks.
If you are seasoned and already using attraction marketing please do yourself a favor. Start gearing all of your online web of content towards these 3 groups of prospects. You will definitely begin to attract them to you. If your niche is not your business opportunity at this time you can still utilize these 3 concepts of people you want to attract to whatever your niche is. For example your number 1 market would be people who have bought whatever you are providing before as well as those that are already using what you are providing to the market place.
